Our lives intersect with those who profoundly impact our souls in our uncertain existence. In high school, the universe conspired to introduce me to Ajit Ninan, a luminary of extraordinary talent and wisdom who would forever change my life.

Ajit Ninan’s cartoon skills conquered the canvas with every stroke, sketching the essence of our world in ink and wit. In mere moments, he rendered detailed caricatures of politicians, leaving viewers in awe of his creativity.

My journey into the world of cartoons was fraught with trials and tribulations. I dared to chase my dream like a kite defying gravity’s grasp, undeterred by constant rejections. I dared to believe that I, too, could be on pages of national newspapers with my satirical musings. As Nietzsche once proclaimed, “One must have chaos in oneself to give birth to a dancing star.” And so, I persisted and finally met the mighty Ninan with my portfolio of sketches at the India Today magazine office.
